Commenting on the association between Livewire and Red FM, Durgesh Yadav, Account Manager, Livewire Events & Promos, said: “We have an ongoing relationship with 93.5 Red FM (Pune) and the fact that they were looking for a well established agency which could turn around corporate tie-ups in a short span of time worked well in our favour.”
Livewire’s role of execution involved managing corporate tie-ups, permissions, registrations, etc. The event involved 10 corporate houses (with seven players in each team) in a head to head battle on the football turf. The league matches were played on the first day whereas the next day saw the semi-finals and finals.
The winning team Tech Mahindra Business Services went home with Rs. 50,000 whereas the runners-up Capgemini won Rs. 25,000. Three individual prizes of Rs. 10,000 each were given to the best player, top goal-scorer and best goalkeeper. All participants were treated to a FIFA World Cup match screening at Four Points Sheraton.
At the event, an emcee engaged the employees through multiple games (with foosball tables) and sponsor integrations. An RJ also interacted with with employees to broadcast the event live. The sponsors received visibility through branding, product displays and other promotional activities.
Commenting on the main challenge faced in execution of the event, Yadav said: “The main challenge was that we needed corporate activities lined up back to back as it was all going live on radio and there had to be continuity. Our teams worked overtime, getting things in place and executing a flawless event.”
